Key Dates
We are open in Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters . There is no program during summer, but housing is typically available at the SIW center for undergraduate students for a fee. Students who attend the program during the school year have priority for summer housing.
Upcoming Application Deadlines:
Second Round Winter Quarter 2026-27: This is a rolling application. Admissions decisions will be made as applications are received. The application will be open until October 15, 2026. If the program fills before October 15th the application will become a waitlist application. That will be noted here and on the application. Please reach out to program staff with questions.
Spring Quarter 2026-27: Application launch mid-August 2026. Application deadline October 15, 2026. This application is not rolling.

Academic Year 2026-27 Dates
Fall Quarter 2026-27:
Thursday September 17, 2026: SIW Arrival Date
Friday September 18 - Sunday September 20, 2026: SIW Orientation
Monday September 21, 2026 or Tuesday September 22, 2026: Students begin internships. Monday September 21, 2026 is Yom Kippur students who will be observing will begin internships Tuesday.
SIW does not observe a week of for Thanksgiving. Students should expect to have classes and interships Monday November 23-Wednesday November 25. Thursday November 26 and Friday November 27 are holidays. There is a Thanksgiving meal at the house for those unable to travel.
Friday December 11, 2026 : Final day of internships. Farewell Dinner. Students are Expected to remain at SIW through the farewell dinner, students will go to internships during the final week.
Saturday December 12, 2026: Move Out Day
